Actually, the meeting didn't go at all. She e-mailed my advisor halfway through the day on Friday and said we would have to reschedule because she had a sudden conflict, and my advisor e-mailed her back with, "Yeah, my schedule's really full next week, and we're not printing a retraction, so..." And that was that! I kind of wish I could say a couple things to her, but I think this is best for all involved.
Plus I love that my advisor basically gave her the virtual equivalent of "And you, sir, are dismissed."
We do have a pretty small school in smallish community, though, so I hope any future (and very likely many) encounters I have with this lady will be civil.
