Of course--OF COURSE--just as I was beginning to come to some semblance of a college decision, I hear back from Columbia and Yale. And I, uh, got in. To Columbia and Yale. Which I will be periodically re-checking all night, because seriously? Seriously?

I just... *flails* I mean, I've been thinking about this stuff nonstop for, like, five months, and I am still COMPLETELY unprepared to deal with ANY of this. I have no idea how this happened to me, and I have absolutely no idea what to do now that it has. *collapses*

Whew! Okay. I have Calculus and Bio to do. I'm just gonna go... focus on that.

Thank you! I'm still trying to absorb it all, you know? I have NO clue which one to go with! I didn't expect to have that dilemma!

The good news is that you can't make a wrong decision. (Damn. I was positive the Golden State would nab you for our team. Not so sure, now.)

But, y'know. You'll get a good education, regardless of which school you pick. You'll make connections with people that will serve you for a lifetime. With these choices, you'll get doors opened to you just because of the name of the school. You'll have an adventure. There's just no bad, whichever way you go.

I have been known to make major life decisions with dice. Really. If I truly feel torn in completely equal directions, let the dice decide. If I don't like the answer the dice give me, well, that tells me something I wasn't perceiving before about which way I'm actually leaning....

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

It is pretty much win-win--they're all equal academically, I think, so it's just a question of gut feelings, basically.

The Golden State is, at present, in the lead. I'm thinking I'll have a much better read once I visit campuses, you know?

The dice idea isn't a bad one, and I know exactly what you mean; it can give you insight to your leanings.

Thank you! And thank you extra for all the insight you gave me before--everything's helpful!
